Hotel IX Nine Streets Amsterdam ligt in de trendy 9 Straatjes, op 300 meter van het Koninklijk Paleis Amsterdam en Dam Square. De Anne Frank Huis is op loopafstand, net als de Bloemenmarkt. Het Centraal Station is 10 minuten lopen, Schiphol 11 km verderop.
De vijf suites - zoals de Berenstraat Suite, Huidenstraat Suite en Reestraat Suite - hebben elk een eigen stijl met historische details en moderne voorzieningen. Alle suites bieden een eigen badkamer met douche en haardroger, een slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbedden die soms als twee losse eenpersoonsbedden kunnen worden gezet. De Berenstraat Suite heeft bovendien een dakterras, de Huidenstraat Suite een slaapbank voor een derde gast.
De minibar in elke suite is gratis gevuld met water, frisdrank en Heineken, en wordt dagelijks aangevuld. Daarnaast staan een Nespresso-apparaat met capsules en een waterkoker klaar. Gasten ontvangen badjassen, slippers en toiletartikelen van het Turkse merk Atelier Rebul.
Er is geen receptie; de eigenaar Merel onderhoudt rechtstreeks contact via e-mail en is bereikbaar voor vragen. Het inchecken gebeurt met een code voor de voordeur en een aparte code voor de suite, zonder sleutels. Merel geeft persoonlijke aanbevelingen voor restaurants en cafés in de buurt.
Sommige suites, zoals de Huidenstraat Suite, hebben een slaapbank, waardoor er plaats is voor drie personen. Er is geen extra bedrag voor een derde gast - de eigenaar rekent alleen een toeslag voor extra gasten. De steile trappen zijn typerend voor een 17e-eeuws pand; gasten met beperkte mobiliteit dienen hiermee rekening te houden.
